Pierre-Emmanuel Frot has a master of economic engineering from Grenoble INP. He joined Schneider Electric in 1995. He held various positions as project manager, business manager and business developer before becoming the Sales and Execution Vice President of the International Projet Department, in charge of securing and executing large projects in various markets such as Oil & Gas, Mining, Utilities, Data Centres … and various countries. During this period, he launched the Solar EPC activity for Schneider Electric, with the construction of a first 5MW project in 2008.
In 2011, the Solar EPC business had grown substantially with close to 300MW built in more than 10 countries. He joined the Solar department as Vice President Global Sales, with a focus on the electrical side of solar plants (Electrical EPC, Equipment Supply, Grid Integration). More than 10GW were delivered till end of 2018 including some iconic projects such as the Neoen Cestas plant of 300MW in 2015 (biggest European plant at this time), several 100 and 200MW projects in Australia, the USA, Mexico … along with the phase 2 and 3 of the Mohammed bin Rachid Al Maktoum solar park of 800MW in Dubai. He left Schneider Electric on July 2019 to build up a new university curriculum dedicated to transition entrepreneurship with Grenoble INP and Grenoble École de Management and brings its expertise in Solar projects to KBB Advisory.
